In addition to a custom built toboggan for a family trip to Red River, NM – I had the bright idea to build a sled for our kids. Using leftover wood, I came up with my own design, after looking at others online. The primary use for this sled was to be a “stroller” for our toddler, but big brother tried it out on a few slops and it worked great. We named the sled Josefine II – after my mother Birgit Josefine Marie Pausch Gideon, who as a young child spend many days on toboggans and sleds in her home country of Germany.
